Father Was Scared That The Pitbull Would Harm The Baby But It Did The Unthinkable

Man’s best friend come in different shapes and sizes. They can be small and cuddly or large and fierce. But no matter what their appearance, they are considered as one of the most loyal creatures on earth.

They stick closer than a brother and sometimes risk their lives for their human. We’ve heard a lot of these kinds of stories. And this one is no different. Don’t we just love reading stories like these?

One man tells the story about how his wife’s pit bull never liked him, causing him to be concerned for the moment they brought a new baby home. Would Zack treat the baby as he treated his human’s husband? Even the toughest dogs can surprise you.

10. Zack The Pit bull

Pit bulls are infamous for their aggressive behavior. After all, they were fighting dogs. But despite their reputation, there is also a growing number of pit bull lovers. They say pit bills are one of the sweetest dogs. But this man’s experience was different.

He shared, “My wife and I owned two dogs that we had owned before we met and brought into the marriage. Her dog was a pit bull/labrador cross named Zack, and he hated me.” Now we know why he was worried when they had a baby.

9. Worried Dad

When our daughter was born, I said to the wife,“If he so much as nips at the baby, he’s gone.” It’s only natural for this father to worry because Zack didn’t like him. He was scared that the dog would be aggressive on the baby. But things turned out differently.

8. Love At First Sight

“We brought our daughter home in a car seat, and both dogs sniffed and licked her, tails wagging. I had to pull Zack away from her because he wouldn’t stop licking her,” he shared. Surprisingly, what he feared didn’t happen. Instead, the dogs warmly welcomed the new addition to their family.

7. The Protector

“Zack immediately became my daughter’s protector, and when she was lying on a blanket on the floor, he always had to have one foot on the blanket. Zack loved my daughter immensely, and when she became a little older always walked her to bed, and then slept on the bed with her.”
