Ever wonder what your favorite 80s stars are up to now? It’s hard to believe that over 35 years have passed since these gorgeous and hunky stars made our hearts flutter in the 1980s. Some of them can still be found now, on television or on the silver screen. Others have drifted into obscurity, either favoring family life over fame or getting by on the meager earnings from a traditional business lifestyle like the rest of us. Either way, it’s fun to see how these top earners and performers from way back when are doing now that it’s 2016.
#18 Rob Lowe
Rob Lowe was an original member of the so-called Brat Pack back in the 80s. His boyish good looks and sexy charm earned him roles in St. Elmo’s Fire and The Outsiders. Apparently practicing a healthy lifestyle after giving up his hard-drinking ways, Lowe’s good looks haven’t left him, and he is currently producing and starring in a new TV series called, “The Grinder”.
#17 Demi Moore
Demi Moore also starred with Rob Lowe in St. Elmo’s Fire. Her career began taking off again when she re-emerged with a refurbished body (via plastic surgery) to star in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Her biggest and most recent conquest was in dating Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 years younger than Moore. She certainly knows how to keep her good looks with age.
#16 Emilio Estevez
Emilio Estevez was briefly engaged to Demi Moore, and judging by the way he has aged, and Demi’s taste for younger men, it’s a good thing the wedding was canceled. We all remember him as Coach Bombay from The Mighty Ducks but now Emilio is currently sitting back and quaffing wine at his own personal winery called Casa Dumetz, in sunny California.
Considering all the sex, drugs and rock and roll that Madonna has indulged in during her lifetime, she’s holding up pretty well. She’s won Grammy after Grammy but has trouble winning the loyal hearts of men. She’s twice divorced and is currently battling for visitation of her son Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
#14 Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise’s big break came when he starred in Risky Business, a movie about a young kid hiring a hooker while his parents are away. Tom is still trying to get women to come and stay since his recent explosive divorce from Katie Holmes. His career is still skyrocketing, though, with more Mission Impossible films in the works.
