The Hercules Moth is the world’s largest moth. They are endemic to Papua New Guinea and Northern Australia. These moths on steroids have a wingspan of over 10 inches wide compared to other species which have less than 5 inches. It’s double the size and its wings have the largest surface area of any living insect.

Goliath Frogs can grow up to 13 inches long and weigh more than 8 pounds. These creatures have a relatively small habitat range in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. Unfortunately, these creatures are declining in number due to habitat destruction and collection for food and pet trade. I guess that’s why this guy looks sad.

This terrifying creature can grow up to 3 feet in length and can weigh up to 9 pounds. They are called coconut crabs because they actually eat coconuts and crack them up with their strong claws. They are found on islands across the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Just make sure you keep your fingers far from these creatures.

This giant pink fluorescent slug measures about 7.8 inches which is a bit longer that the average person’s head. When attacked slugs can contract their body, making themselves harder combined and with the slippery mucous these makes them difficult to grasp for predators. These slimy things are also parasitized by several organisms so hands off! If you want to get rid of them just pour salt on them and watch them wrinkle away.

Could the Kraken be true? This colossal squid is a creature that’s only born from nightmares of people with ocean phobia. These stories were just considered as fairy tales because no one was able to prove it. Not until this creature appeared. This giant sea creature was almost 50 feet on length and weighs atleast 1,700 pounds. It’s eye alone is as big as the human head. The first colossal squid discovered was in 1925 when a sperm whale surface with two tentacles inside it’s stomach.

That was an impressive list. Who knew such enormous creatures exists. Some of them were cute and cuddly while some are only made for nightmares.
