#9 Franklin D. Roosevelt – 139.6 IQ
Franklin Delano Roosevelt is considered to be one of the most intellectual presidents of all time, probably thanks at least in part to his IQ of 139.6! He got a degree from Harvard University before serving as President for almost twelve years. Throughout his presidency, he remained committed to his studies and often read for pleasure.
#8 George Washington – 132.5 IQ
He only had the educational level of an elementary schooler, but George Washinton still managed to be the very first President of the United States. We’re thinking that his IQ score of 132.5 probably helped, too! He also served in the military, much like the next President we have for you!
#7 Dwight D. Eisenhower – 131.9 IQ
An IQ of 131.9 is certainly nothing to scoff at! That’s the score earned by Dwight David Eisenhower. He was a Five Star General in the United States Army before becoming President and is known for his work regarding school integration and desegregation, as well as his efforts on civil rights issues.
#6 Richard M. Nixon – 131 IQ
Richard Millhouse Nixon had an IQ score of 131. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Whittier College and a law degree from Duke University, both with some of the highest distinctions possible. He was later disgraced during the Watergate Scandal but still earned many fans as the 37th President of the United States.
#5 George H.W. Bush – 130.1 IQ
George H.W. Bush took a detour from college to serve in the United States Navy, but after World War II was over, he used his impressive IQ of 130.1 to help him earn a degree from Yale University and win him the White House. Another Bush is on slide 19!
