A Latino artist born in LA, wanted to pay tribute to the Chola Gangster style by putting it to a test on famous celebrity faces. The style involves a “sharpied” eyebrow, dark lip liner, and fumes from a can of aqua net. There is also that signature body tattoo especially in the neck and chest area.
Michael Jason Enriquez is a contemporary artist who has an eye for flair and humor of a natural comedian. Combine these two attributes and the result is spectacular. In his own words he describes the art he created as “a product of LA where subcultures, celebrity obsession, street art, and stupidity are rolled up together like one of those bacon wrapped hot dogs sold in Holywood Blvd. Now that is a mouthwatering feast right there. If you are not yet convince this can turn out pretty awesome aside from hilarious then see for yourself and be blown away by these celebrities’ transformation.
1. Are you team Jacob?
This Twilight star has moved many lass with his manly physique and piercing eyes. He entered stardom in Twilight Saga when it opened in 2007. The phrase Team Jacob has been a catch phrase among teenagers all over the world. Quite astonishing though is his cholafied version is screaming Team Eduardo on his Chin tattoo. If that doesn’t make you smile plus his arched eyebrow, then you are as cold as Edward.
2. The Notebook hunk turned pretty
Ryan Gosling starred in some of our favorite tv shows like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark? But his career started to skyrocket when he played the lovable role of Noah Calhoan in the most epic love story of all time- The Notebook. In this picture though, I kind a sensing that it will even be harder for Allie Hamilton (the love interest of Noah played by actress Rachel McAdams) to recognize her love, I further guess this look may give her a heart attack
3. British songstress in tear
She is a Grammy award winning musical artist. Adele’s music has touched our hearts and left a mark to stay. She sings in deep sorrowed mood, blended in her vocal strength. In this Chocofied version of this musical gem, it all seemed to be fitting to put a tear drop in her eyes since her music has that melancholy theme to it. I must say too that those thin pointed eyebrows suits her just fine, she is still pretty.
