Canon logo was developed from a logo designed for the optical company established in 1933. It was first known as Kwanon, the name of a goddess but to make it acceptable to the entire world it was changed to Canon in 1935. The present logo evolved from that in 1956.
IBM started as a company that produced tabulating machines. Its first logo was based on its name of Computing Recording Machine Corporation. Company changed its name in 1924 and the new logo carried the first letters of its name International Business Machines. Later it went through several changes and the present logo was adopted in 1972
Wal-Mart is one of the logo designs that have been subjected to least amount of changes. The logo was first used when the company was founded in 1962 and the present logo was designed in 2008.

Microsoft logo was created in 1975 and it has undergone a change in 1987. The present day logo has been developed in1994.
Logo of the World Wildlife Fund has gone through only a little change after it was designed and used in 1961. Those changes have taken place in 1978 and in 1986.
Volkswagen logo designs changed four times as that has been first developed in 1939 and it has been changed a bit before the Second World War. After the Second World War it has been changed again and the one you see today has been developed in the year 2000.
