During the entire 168 episode run of the series, the Rye, New York native was nominated for two Emmy Awards, one Golden Globe Award, and two Young Artist Awards for her work, and she even got to host an episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

Bateman showed up at the red carpet for the 2010 Streamy Awards, which honors all aspects of online video. The award show took place at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. She was nominated in the category of Best Female Actor in a Comedy Web Series for her work in “Easy to Assemble.”
12) Going Back To College
In 2012, Bateman took some time away from her acting career to head back to UCLA to get her degree in computer science. She wasn’t able to attend college during the filming of “Family Ties.” At the age of 46, she was one of the oldest freshman enrolled at the time. This photo was taken outside of the campus.
In June 2016, Bateman graduated from UCLA with a degree in computer science and management. She documented the entire journey over on her blog.
