Pia Toscano was never an official contestant on Dancing With the Stars, just a music performer. Back in 2001, Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas dated briefly for five months before going their separate ways. According to the two, their breakup stemmed from Ballas’ busy schedule on Dancing With the Stars and Toscano’s music career.
11. Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer

Some rumors stated Lacey Schwimmer and Mike Catherwood’s romance began shortly after their dance rehearsals for the first few weeks of the competition. There was a noticeable sexual tension between the two during their dance routines that caused some of the producers to ask the Schwimmer and Catherwood to tone things down.

After Murgatroyd and Maslow were eliminated, they continued their romance months after the show ended.

6. Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough

Fans got to watch things between dancer/actress Julianne Hough and country singer Chuck Wicks blossom on season nine. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long, as Hough began to fall in love with Ryan Seacrest as she was dating Wicks. Hough and Seacrest went on to have a three-year relationship.
